Welcome to Burkholder Tractor & Equipment LLC
In 1981, brothers Lloyd and Leon Burkholder each had their own dairy farm approx 2 miles apart near Schaefferstown, PA. They each had their own shop and started cleaning and repairing a few tractors in their spare time. As they sold more items, they realized that they will need a business name and therefore it became known as ‘Burkholder Brothers’.
As time went on, Lloyd's three sons Ken, Jeremy and Josh as well as Leon's two sons Lyn and Kevin became involved and an LLC was formed and the business then became known as ‘Burkholder Brothers Tractor LLC’.
Fast forwarding to the beginning of 2020, the sons purchased the business from the dads and the business name was then changed to ‘Burkholder Tractor & Equipment LLC’. Then, in 2022 we had the opportunity to purchase a nearby commercial property. What followed was 4 years of planning, land development, permitting, excavating, building and finally in March 2026 we were able to move everything to one new location after being on the original farms for 45 years!!
