Welcome to Burkholder Tractor & Equipment LLC

Thanks for visiting our website. A few things have changed over the years and we'll briefly explain what we've experienced. In the year of 1981, brothers Lloyd and Leon each had their own dairy farm approx 2 miles apart near Schaefferstown, PA. They each had their own shop and started cleaning and repairing a few tractors in their spare time. As they sold more items they realized that they will need a business name and therefore it became known as Burkholder Brothers. As time went on, Lloyd's three sons Ken, Jeremy and Josh as well as Leon's two sons Lyn and Kevin became involved and an LLC was formed and the business then became known as, Burkholder Brothers Tractor LLC. Fast forward to the present and as of beginning of year 2020, the sons have purchased the business from the dads and the business name has now been changed to Burkholder Tractor & Equipment LLC. The dads will still continue to assist with the business operations as needed. Today, we still operate our business at the original locations which continue to be operating dairy farms. Various personal interests include: volunteering with Schaefferstown Fire/Rescue and Schaefferstown Emergency Medical Service, collecting old signs, collecting old tractors & equipment and flying small aircraft.
